Ending on a bright note

I know that I'm not the only one who has felt as if the down-pours have followed him around this weekend.

But as I left the Fa'side Lodge this evening, having led some of the residents in worship alongside other Methodist friends in Tranent, I was stopped in my tracks by this scene.

Made all the more dramatic by the turbulent thunderclouds, the City was - for a brief moment at least - under the brilliant gaze of the sun.
