Today was the absolute perfect opportunity to go to the beach, so we ran with it. The morning involved our typical pre-beach errands, which include ATM and bagel runs and playing some of our perfectly orchestrated summer playlists. The ride was seamless and smooth until we arrived in point pleasant and were greeted by an unreasonable amount of traffic and lack of parking. However, always the optimist, Stephen didn't give up hope and found us a nice spot within decent walking distance of the beach.

Droves of other people decided to seize the opportunity as well so the beach was pretty packed. The umbrellas in the picture were only a few of thousands. Stephen and I found a nice little spot for ourselves and laid the day away.

We had to leave around five to go to one of my monthly family fun days in staten island, but before we did we snagged some sweet kohr's soft serve. Can you believe they had freaking chocolate and mint twist? Amazing.

One time you need to ask Stephen to tell the story about how he caught a marlin today...
