Smashing

Had to back blip for yesterday...it all went a bit tits up as poor Summer came down with a nasty chest infection. She was really suffering and we all had to manage on very little sleep, not a good combo with a house full of weekend guests. She seems to be on the mend now. We managed to all walk along to the village Strawberry Tea this afternoon. The sun shone wonderfully and we enjoyed tombolas, cake and veg stalls, the raffle and of course huge piles of strawberries, cream, scones and shortbread. The kids were intrigued by this plate-smashing stall...no prizes to be won, just the excitement of being allowed to hurl golf balls at fine china!
