Success

Last night I ran out of icing sugar and the cake wasn't tall enough for the doll and I put too much food colouring in as I didn't want it to be that pink etc etc. I had a mad dash to the shops this morning to buy more ingredients and eventually I finished - hurrah!

Olivia absolutely loved it! What a relief.

Do you know what? It's not even her birthday until tomorrow!! She's like the Queen. Her Aunt and Uncle can't make it tomorrow so we decided to have a party lunch today and eat cake. It was delicious and my husband who doesn't really like cake admitted that he thought it was one of my best yet :)
