Prickly

Nice wander round Dad's garden in the late sun tonight. He has some fine new plants but it was this one, which has been there for a while, that caught my eye.

The bright blue is a real theme in the garden so this plant seems to fit right in.

Probably should have had the sense to ask Dad the name while I was there but didn't so this will just need to go in the journal as 'some kind of thistle I think' ;-)
