After a day of rest it's back to 'Houses in our Street' No.7.
This perfectly proportioned one is next door to Saturdays blip and is the last one in the street.
Several of you have asked about the 'ghost' windows. You can see one on this. It is possible that it was either bricked up or left to have a window put in at a later date because of the Window Tax introduced in the 18th century and levied on houses with more than 8 windows.
Since starting this series I've realised that it could go on for some time as there is hardly a house in the street that doesn't deserve a photo. But I think I'll just do a few random ones over the next few days and finish with the house that contains our own flat on Friday.
