We Made It!

After a long and late night of driving we made it to the half way point last night then took off early this morning to head to our destination, Wallowa Lake. We've never been here before but can see already how much we are going to love our week long stay in this beautiful place with some great friends.

The scenery is amazing and as you can see by this picture the deer are quite friendly. Tihs is Carter feeding a deer that we ran across near the marina. After spending about 20 minutes feeding, petting and taking pictures of it we learned we aren't necessarily suppose to approach the deer as there was an "incident" last year. Oops! Oh well, it was an experience and the kids loved it.

I'm slowly working on backblipping the week plus that we were gone. Wow, it's like getting behind in doing your laundry...it takes forever to catch up. Although I took over 800 pictures during our trip, I'm finding that many I'm not thrilled with. I just wasnt able to capture the real beauty of where we were in my photo's. Oh well, we have plenty of amazing memories
