DIY lensbaby Image No.33

If you have never seen a lensbaby before, the real thing can be seen here. However, as some of you may remember, a lens of mine became U/S so I disassembled it and in the best Blue Peter tradition, I re-used some of the parts to build my own take on a tilt and shift lens.

Tilt & shift tends to work better on larger subjects, but this image is condensation on a water bottle left in the sun. To give the picture a bit of interest, I added a shaped aperture which is where the 4-pointed stars appear from!

Well it's a departure from my regular summer photography - experimental stuff tends to happen in the dull indoor months - but hey, maybe next winter will be warm and bright?

Yeah OK maybe not.
