Pieces of History

These medals were awarded to my late grandfather who was in the Royal Marines during WWII. A little piece of family history. I did become quite addicted to tracing back my family tree at one point and traced back various branches as far as the 17th century. It's all very fascinating. Whenever I watch costume dramas on telly I visualise my own ancestors. I love history.
