Spring has sprung

Like much of our furniture our lovely 3-seater settee came from Roland's grandfather's house. We reckon it must be about 80 years old. Yes, it's a bit shabby but it is very, very comfy - and comforting. The shabbiness is hidden by a bright blue throw but this evening I discovered that one of the springs in an arm has started to poke through.

We'd love to have this gorgeous piece of furniture re-upholstered but that would take money that we just haven't got. So, we'll just treat it with a little more care and attention. It's not going to the dump just because a spring is poking through.
