Red leaf in passing
Busy, busy, busy again. Maybe it isn't such a good idea to go away with this monthly frequency after all. Nice the beginning of March, Barcelona last week, Zurich at the beginning of May -- it all sounds pretty great (and it is while it's happening), but the problem is what happens in between. I'm back since the early hours of Saturday morning and I'm getting flustered again with work commitments. The design proposal I was working on before Barcelona now moves on to production stage, and two jobs for the same client need to be packed up and sent to print by the end of the month. Today saw the start of the push to achieve this, and all I've managed to do apart from some serious knuckling down was take an hour's break around 3.00 and head in to town to sort out a couple of things which needed sorting out.
I had a bit of time left over on the wretched pay & display machine. Once again I was in the neighbourhood of the Canal, so I snapped away rather merrily. The water was completely still and mirror-like (indeed, today's blip came very close to being this one instead), which was quite different to the chilly breeze which rustled the leaves on the hedges in front of the nearby Georgian office buildings. Most of the hedges were in various shades of green (interesting enough, and highlighted with occasional accents of tiny blossoms), but in between them all was this rich burst of red-tipped leaves which were just crying out for a closer look.
Because of general busy-ness since I got back (Barcelona coverage begins here), I'm way behind with my Blip-commenting, for which much apologies. I'll try for some quick catch-up later on when I take my next break.
