Week 17 - An Onion....

The observant amongst you may have noticed this is not an onion!

There seems to be some debate between the various fruit systems as to whether week 17 is a large onion or a turnip....

Now some of you will be looking at the picture and thinking "well that isnt a turnip either", well I know that!

I sent DH to the supermarket for a turnip, which he duly brought back, however as you would expect it was about the size of a satsuma, which leads me to think that either the americans a) have super-sized turnips or b) think a turnip is a swede?

So...what happened to the turnip.... it went soft and I decided it was just too small to photo so decided to take a picture of the swede but ask you to imagine a large onion! :-D
