Trinity in Edinburgh was popular in the 19th century with ship's captains and their ilk. They famously built houses with square towers from whose top floor rooms they could watch their ships coming up the Forth.

This is a little more fanciful: 'Gothic House' has more chimneys and decorative features than looks sensible on a house this size.
