Teaching kids to love birds more than diamonds...

Club Ecologico Nuevo Amanecer partnered with Jocotoco to host a two-day birding workshop. With about 35 local participants ranging in age from 8ish to 70ish, spotting roughly 100 unique species of birds... I'd say we were successful.

Next step... convince landowners in our watershed that land conservation is worthwhile.
