Wonderful Women

Those of you who drop by my journal will know that I love this restaurant..Chaplins. Tonight it was not only the end of term Ladies get together, but also goodbye to Margaret who is retiring and Andrea who is moving on to her own business. It also marked the retirement of my dear friend Helen and my own retirement from teaching, if not from school. Helen and I are already planning adventures in my days off, and there will be time for leisurely lunches with Verity too. We just need Jean to retire soon!

Tonight we filled the place with noise and laughter and fun, all fifty of us!
