Inverness Beach!

Our first real 'beach' day.....you know what i mean, chairs, towels bathing suits, beer, nibblies.....and lots of sun!

It was glorious! we only had about 3 hours in the afternoon, but it was just enough! the place had that 'beach' feel about it....young folks playing volley ball, others playing around in the waves....and a few beachcombers....Terry and I included! i actually did go in, very briefly...it was pretty damn cold.....sort of take your breath away cold...but i went in,up to my neck and paddled about for a few moments, then quickly exited! Richard had a more exciting time...did handstands, throw himself with total abandon into the waves....he's the biggest kid you know!! Terry and i took a walk and mostly he collected beach glass....i was just happy paddling about at the edge of the water!

home late...which means we're hungry and need food!
