New shoes! Very exciting. I got super bored of my old ones - I have been wearing converse and nothing but converse for about four years now, so it is time for a change! Still sneakers of course, but nevermind... :)

Today was the kids' last day at school for the summer. They break up so early, it's ridiculous. Who actually needs two months summer holiday? Certainly not the parents/nannies, I can tell you that much! They stayed at school the whole day to give me an opportunity to get the house ship shape before they mess it up in the holiday. After school, their mum met me and them at the gate and I took the bus with eldest child down to a suburb below the one we live in (as in 'South', not underground) so she could go visit her friend.

Spent the evening at home because A was babysitting, and since K left if one of us is busy, it seems rubbish with just two people.
