Story Time

Forgot to take a photo yesterday (Sunday) (though actually, I'm sure I did, I just can't find it). Brief update: Woke up super early (9.30 after having gone to bed at like, 4.30) and went upstairs to ask the parents' advice about A's eye. They sent us to the hospital where we hung around and A got stitches. Afterwards we went for well deserved MacDo and then hung around at mine all day because we're too lazy to do anything else and also we'd only had max four hours sleep.

TODAY, I got up at normal work time, looked after the kids for a few hours and then we went to Gare du Nord and caught the Eurostar to London! Woohoo! It was way easier than I thought it was going to be, though we had to fill in landing cards suuuper quickly and then I had to explain why the kids lived in France but had American passports and yadda yadda. Anyway. My mum met us at St Pancras Station in Inglaterra and we went back to my parents' house where we spent the afternoon playing and reading stories, and then had chicken and chips for dinner.
