Emergency breakfast

Supposedly, when David Bailey and Marie Helvin were married they had a male housekeeper who would bring them random breakfast in bed. Some days a bowl of cereal, some days a fry-up and some days a mars bar.

I am a creature of habit. For the last several years, my breakfast has comprised homemade muesli, apple and Greek yoghurt as shown on Jan 15th. I generally make sure that the components are all in stock, but occasionally, like today, there is a snafu. No oats.

And peanut butter on dry toast really is a poor alternative.
