Oh, The Places You Will Go...

I'm not too happy about getting older, but I wouldn't want to be young again. Not, that is, if it meant I had to start all over again. It's hard growing up and I feel it gets harder each generation. I know kids have it a lot easier too, but the world is also more demanding, dynamic and competitive. Globalisation is here, and I wonder what that ultimately means for my kids' way of life. It should present them with many more opportunities, but at what cost? No such thing as a free lunch. Holly has a long corridor ahead of her.
