View from Primrose Hill (NW1)
After a large breakfast at the Lensbury Bert and I took the train first to Waterloo and then on the Northern Line to Camden Town. We wanted to go to Camden Market, which we visited a long time ago. How time changes things... the market was packed to the rafters and almost completely restored. When we first visited there were a few stalls and even fewer customers. Now there are countless stalls and it was packed with customers (mostly tourists).
So we joined the hustle and bustle for a while but then decided to walk towards Regents Park and have lunch somewhere on the way. We turned a corner, crossed a railway bridge and suddenly the tourists and noise was gone. We found a delightful little place to eat in Primrose Hill. It's a lunchroom / tearoom / patisserie shop called Lanka. We had a delicious lunch accompanied by delicious tea. Go and visit them if you can, it is great!
Grudgingly we left Lanka and continued down Regents Park Road towards the park. We climbed Primrose Hill (in the north part of Regents Park) and had this amazing view across London. It is a composite shot of 6 separate photos.
