The last time I blipped these plants I was feeling very spikey myself. Tonight I was simply feeling tired after chairing a meeting to moderate our Quality Mark Award for most of the day. I noticed the deep blue, which seemed to shine, even in the dull light. I'd tried stopping to take some landscape shots across the valley on my way home but the light was just too dull and uninspiring. I think I could have made something of one or two of them with a little post processing but in the end chose this image to share.
