Tall Ship

Hearing a reminder on the News this morning we decided to go to see the Tall Ships leaving Gourock for Lerwick.

As advised we took the car to the park-and-ride which deposited us at the west end of the esplanade, from which we had a superb view as the ships passed, one of them being the Swan, which we had seen recently in Shetland (where we noticed the Unst Bus Shelter was well prepared for the Tall Ships' arrival.)

The tall ship Europa was impressive under sail - the very large cruise ship of the same name had already gone by.
