Black-eyed Susan

Not a reflection on my day, I haven't been in a punch-up, neither has my mascarra run, the hay fever tablets are working!

I treated myself to Rudbeckia hirta "Sahin's Early Flowerer" at the Rose Show this weekend. I've always loved Rudbeckias and was reminded of them by a blip I saw last week. It has several different stages of the flower maturing, so there will certainly be another blip or two left to do.

Went out tonight on a drive searching for a flower meadow but didn't get there. (We now have a map.) Thankfully "Susan" was waiting for this Susan when she got home.
