Bird in Bath

I'm happy to see that some of the robins make it out of the nest- this one is a juvenile having a splashy bath in the birdbath (a concrete form we poured and set on a large tree stump.) It's also just the right height for the deer to drink, and I've seen those pesky raccoons in it too. Who wouldn't want to take a bath under the trees? We don't have a tub outside, but the outdoor shower is wonderful - when it's not TOO cold. :-)

It's a bit grainy because of the low light - I'm hoping to learn how to better reduce this noise.

No rain showers yet, altho predicted. In fact the sun appeared this afternoon. But it's very still, and too chilly! And we could use the rain!
