Rain and Wind

I came home last night to find this result of the wind and rain in my front yard. Such a pity to lose the tree although no real surprise as it was badly affected by a storm we had late last year. The tree itself was fine - just it's roots were too shallow.

It's laying across the fence and blocking the neighbours drive. We're just lucky it didn't take out the beautiful old rhododendron one way or the power lines the other.
