At Longstock House, the cultural heart of Spedan Lewis's empire. Like a David Lean film come to life the only clue to the 21st Century are the cars parked outside. Butlers, antique furnishings and spectacular scenery (which I've perversely chosen not to photograph) make for a really different few days.
