The Chive Cutters....

I spent about an hour today watching these boys about their work....It was such a peaceful scene....
I had to go to Penrith this morning and because of tree felling it was hold up after hold up....so decided to take the long way home via Bilpin....
The long way home ended up being the VERY long way home,ending up at Freemans Reach,and 5 hours later.
The area runs along the Nepean River...Mainly horse studs,turf farms and market gardens....and very beautiful.
The market gardens are mostly owned by Chinese Australians,who work rich fertile soils.
I thought I was in Indonesia for a minute :)
Really just needed to see some water and sit quietly for a minute.
