When in Rome

Yes - I couldn't resist it any longer. CoolJim went surfing at Apollo Bay on his newly purchased body board.

After we packed up our things at the Motel Marengo (looks straight outta No Country for Old Men or From Dusk 'til Dawn - check out the link) we took a walk around Mait's Rest rainforest in the Great Otway National Park (huge trees that you can walk through and beautiful waterfalls). Then we headed for Point Lonsdale all the way along the whole Great Ocean Road.

Cuz Sean tuned me into the rock n' roll radio channel. Let me tell you - I learned to love AC/DC (the band btw). How good a band are they?! I'd seen them on a mate's copy of one of their live dvds and was blown away but when you're driving on these cliffside roads with the sun beating down and sea lapping at the bottom of the cliff - you cannae beat it.

Drove past Bell's Beach on the way (famous for the final scene in the legend movie that is Point Break).

The Rip Curl Pro World championships were on and Kelly Slater was back!

My auntie's car is full of sand and wet swimwear. You ripper!
