The Las Conchas fire (near Los Alamos, New Mexico) has burned over 150,000 acres. Heartbreaking, destroyed large swathes of Valles Caldera and Bandelier. We arrived in Albuquerque and on drive to Santa Fe could see the smoke rising from the mountains. The sun looking like it is setting, even though it isn't yet time.
