Frome Festival - Day 6

Today I went to the Rook Lane Chapel to see an exhibition called To the land where the bong tree grows, a series of paintings by Giles Ford that were inspired by the poem The owl and the pussycat. If you have a look in large, you can see my favourite painting of the exhibition in more detail - the upper one in the centre.

I was torn between showing the paintings or showing the wonderful gallery space. I don't think I've done justice to either!

We are so lucky in Frome to have so many wonderful venues and such a diverse range of talent. I haven't even shown you any of the film, dance or live music events - but there are still four days left...

Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
Day 4
Day 5

Many, many thanks for all the birthday and blipday good wishes yesterday - I even hit the spotlight!
