Ollie's New Friend!

Meet Scratch! She's had all her vaccinations and so now can come round to play! Ollie and her got on so well - she chased him, chewed his ears, nipped at his heels, fought him for his toys and pestered the life out of him! He loved it!

Just before Jenny and Scratch were about to leave, my sister, Non-Accidental, and Tessa came round to see us too. Three dogs is about three times as many dogs as a garden our size can cope with - but they all had fun, and most of the vegetables and flowers are still standing!

One of the joys of being a postie is that customers tend to give you any garden surplus when you call in! Himself came home tonight with several kilos of black currants and one kilo of strawberries! My evening has been taken up with jam making . . . ! Not an empty jam jar left in the house!
