Waiting to be revealed...

So apparently my husband's "in progress" pride and joy is a bit of an eye-sore in our shared driveway. It's a bright orange Chevy Malibu that he's currently working on. He's got the engine at school (he's in school for Auto Mechanics, almost graduated) and he has plans to paint and completely finish the car - hopefully soon. However, right now we have no choice but to let it sit in our driveway... which I mentioned, we share with our duplex neighbors (and thankfully friends of ours, so they're a little understanding).

Recently we decided to give into the haggling of our relatives and cover up the "eye-sore" for the time being... But if you ask us directly, we're just covering it to protect it from the elements ;-)

Honestly though, why should he have to hide something he's so proud of just because other people don't care for the look?
