That time of year

Short dresses, spotty dresses, pastel colours, vibrant pinks. Red gowns, black gowns, mortar boards, floppy hats. High heels, flatties. Rebellious ones in jeans, overdressed regretting-that-very-short-skirt whilst trying to ascend the steep stairs to the graduation stage. Celebrities, honoraries. Parents, grandparents, babies. Deckchairs and strawberries on our lawns. Sunshine and smiles. Cloud and brave faces. A happy time for all.
