Church of the Intercession of Our Lady

I can't take credit for this photo. I saw it at a museum in the Novodevichiy Monastery. Spent the afternoon admiring beautiful churches, only to be reminded here that most had to be totally rebuilt or renovated in the 90s, after 70 years of socialism saw them converted into cinemas, swimming pools or administrative buildings - if they weren't forcibly left to rot or completely demolished, that is.
