I think it's that when you look at it you get to weigh up the weeks of fawning sycophancy that goes with a nation in mourning against getting at least one day off work, the transition to a true comedy monarchy and the slight possibility that if someone organises a Facebook campaign we'd get a head-to-head between rereleases of Candle in the Wind and The Smiths for number 1. An excellent start to the day.

A day of data monkeying broken only by a nice lunch in the park with a bunch of blip types. The contents of the office came into the gardens to see who could throw a ball furthest. Odd. A slightly macho contest to see who was the biggest tosser?
