New shoots

This is about the third time I have blipped some part of the Bay tree but I make no apologies.

The new shoots caught my eye but more specifically the red leaf edge which is only present when they are very new stood out and said "capture me before I dissapear!"

So I took it and then wondered if anyone elses bay tree talks to them?
