Just Beachy

We had a glorious couple of hours at Balmedie Beach in the raging hot sunshine (17 degrees celsius don't ya know!) It inspired me to suggest going on a beach holiday next year...Philip thought this would be great, apparently there's some smashing beaches along the Moray coast...

Ho-hum.

Still, the kids loved splashing in the icy cold North Sea. Callum fell on his bum a couple of times and had to endure the humiliation of the drive home wrapped in a sandy beach towel. I must remember to take a change of clothes on our next trip. Hannah spent the entire time making a mini-African village complete with huts made from bits of sticks. We didnt take our bucket and spades so the kids had to make do with old school sandcastle building. Here's hoping the weather stays good enough for us to have another visit during the hols. (This time with extra clothes for Ella and Callum).
