After all those years having smelly or toxic fumes pumped into it, the exhaust tube had had enough.

The people in the house were distracted with the late afternoon soap opera so this was the time to make a run for it.

It's was now or never and one thing the exhaust tube was certain: they wouldn't catch it alive.
