Out the passenger window

A long drive home from Northampton, Massachusetts - 11 hours and a number of stops. We passed through a number of mountain ranges that were very scenic, including this capture of the Catskills area of eastern New York State just west of the Castleton-on-Hudson bridge. Glad to be home safe and sound and the cats were happy to see us and we were happy to see them! So tired, and so surprised to find that our basement was flooded (but drained away) when we got home, apparently it happened just this afternoon; we did not need this after driving 900 kilometres. Tired and unhappy. We don't know if family photos and papers have been destroyed. Irreplaceable! Will know more tomorrow.
