A Solitary Bee and a California Poppy

My lovely California Poppy plant continues to have new flowers. They are joyously colorful. And their color brings to mind California so intensely. It is the color of poppies, oranges and the Garibaldi fish. The little solitary bees love the poppies, and they roll around in the pollen. I haven't seen many regular bees this year but the solitary bees are everywhere.
