Set in stone

NCSL logo (Northern Co-Operative Society Ltd) and 1933 date on the shop at St. Machar Drive / King Street, Aberdeen.

Norco - as it was better known - is no more, but its logo is still set in stone here.

Been meaning to go and take a pic of this for a while ... it would have involved a wee walk but tonight the bus got stuck on the roundabout so I was able to snap this through the window :)
