Green Isle Three

Green Isle Three going to work. This was at 7-30 pm this morning and the vessel was heading out to haul Creels to collect their catch of Prawns. Some of those Prawns may go to market but some will end up on dishes in the local restaurants.

Though more overcast today it is still warm. There is a gentle breeze that will help to keep the midges off.

Yesterday was a particularly busy day but today there are less visitors apparent. We will have to wait and see how the local businesses fare. The trend this season is down on last year with some businesses really struggling. It does not bode well for the winter.

I guess it is our turn to feel the effects of this recession, let us hope we can ride the storm. Let's face it, everyone deserves a holiday but now with lower incomes and higher fuel costs everyone has to take more care of how they spend their money.
