Chocolate cake!

My lovely wife has been baking!

My wonderful wife's baking skills have long been maligned (some with actual justice, she once made a chocolate discus!!) but effort often pays off.
She has made this chocolate masterpiece for a friends 40th birthday, this being the tester piece for me to try (quote: if I survive then it's okay!!!).

The finished cake is in the shape of a glamorous handbag......so far, and I consumed the trial piece hours ago, so good! I love the fact that she gives these things as gifts, convinced of the grattitude that surely will follow.

Anyway, I'm sure that this will be another quirky success, it tasted great, no really!!
