Lady Justice

I was in civil court for most of this day.
I am finding the American Court system to be very interesting.
After five years, five lawyers and over $50,000
I am now doing my own legal work.

But what I have really learned is this:
Every time the only option is this legal system,
there are no winners in this game.
No one is a winner,
not the defendant or plaintiff,
not the lawyer or judge,
not the victim, perpetrator or the citizenry.
