Paddlin' Patriots

It was a gorgeous day, even if a little on the warm side. We ditched plans to go hiking in favor of going for a paddle along the Concord River. We even stopped at the Old North Bridge to hear an enthusiastic park ranger give an enthusiastic talk about the events of April 19, 1775. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I used to hate American history, but it's hard not to get excited about it living (and canoeing) where so much of it took place.
