Sandpatch on top of the Noosa Everglades
I've just come back to Noosa Heads after going on a canoe camp safari in the Noosa Everglades. It was incredible, it was 3 days 2 nights, the first day we canoed up the river to our camp which took about 2 hours, on the second day (when I took the blip) we canoed and walked a 24k round trip, 12k canoeing then 12k walking up to the top of the mountain to what is known as "Sandpatch" my footprints were the only ones on the whole sandpatch, which was like a desert, I was the first person up there and I felt like I could see the WHOLE world from where i was stood, and just sat and thought for hours on this secluded gorgeous bit of our earth. It was breathtaking. I took so many photos, of the rainforest I walked through, of the snakes I saw along the way, of the view from the very edge of the sandpatch, but this one had to be my favourite!! This is Austrailia to me. Not all the western crap.
