Photos for Hope
What a stunning exhibition, I managed to get two beautiful photos. One was taken in Cuba - it's a fountain with a cat sleeping in it (very beautiful) and the other one is a landscape (gorgeous desert colours) both by the same artist. I'm having a hard time reading his name on the prints otherwise I'd tell you his name. Nikon SA were there and I bumped into my instructor from the last workshop I did - he wanted to take my pic with the photos we bought, I duly put Josh in front of the camera. LOL
We then headed off to the movies and got to see Mr Popper's Penguins - I'm not a Jim Carey fan but ended up enjoying it.
We then popped into my favourite Camera store to enquire about a SB-700 speedlight - think I might just be dragging hubby in there soon to aquire it (some psychological warfare might be needed - LOL) Then we popped over to CNA to get the latest edition of the Digital SLR Photography magazine (July edition) - I cannot wait to browse through it.
All in all, not a bad Saturday.
And something to look forward to.
On Tuesday I'm attending a free workshop that is being offered by Nikon SA and Adobe - Brett Florens is one of the speakers, his wedding photography is DIVINE! This time I'll remember to take a notebook along. At the last work offered by Adobe + Nikon, I forgot to take one along and ended up trying to do stuff all by memory - thank goodness for google and clued-up husband's :D.
