Lifeboat Cruise

The Dunbar Lifeboat Queen arriving into the harbour after a cruise up & down the coast in the lifeboat. This is a big day in Dunbar with the whole community coming out to celebrate and raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Lots of people don't realise that RNLI get no funding from Government and rely upon donations. Sounds crazy at first, but if you ask me it's a happy circumstance which avoids the possibility of bloody Government interference.

The rain wasn't very heavy and half the town seemed to jump in the harbour, so they were soaking anyway. Drink was drunk, rafts were raced, burgers were barbecued, and blips were blipped.

Now to take Dotty out for a relaxed and no doubt winey dinner with friends Iain and Lindsey.
