Sunshine surprise.

Poor kids have been stuck inside most of the day because of the rain, doing 'inside things' like painting and playing 'bored' games and then they watched a film with Daddy while I 'worked'. Thankfully I've now done all I can do for my next assignment for the moment (didn't I just send one off the other day?!?) so now just a little matter of a project to get going on but my brain is frazzled - again!

Would you believe it, though - with perfect timing the sun came out a while ago and we all trooped outside and did chalk drawings on the patio, which works brilliantly when it's all wet. Was going to blip our artwork but then I spotted this hoverfly - well, loads, actually. I know there have been quite a few really superb hoverflies on here recently but this is the first time I've managed to get one even slightly in focus so it'll do for today!
